This past Sunday 2 June, eight of the nine previously classified swimmers from the Municipal Sports Area of ​​L'Ametlla de Mar, they swam in the Catalunya Grand Final of the School Swimming Sports Games, at the Les Comes d'Igualada Municipal Pool.

With Juvenile category:

• Ian Margalef: 7è lloc en 50m esquena en 41’’78 i 12è lloc en 50m braça en 49’’57
• Núria Pinyol: 81st place in 50m breaststroke in 47''22 and 10th place in 50m butterfly in 46''56
• Biel Ferri: 12è lloc en 50m crol en 37’’99
• Ona Martí: 16è lloc en 50m esquena en 47’’96 i 14è lloc en 50m braça 51’’84

Amb categoria Cadet:

• Victor Jimenez: 4rt en 100m papallona en 1’20’’68
• Aitor Boyer: 4rt en 100m braça 1’24’’34 i 5què lloc en 100m crol en 1’05’’75
• Artur Juaranz: 5què en 100m braça en 1’24’’78
• Jordi Enamorado: 6è en 50m papallona en 1’43’’03 i 9è en 100m braça en 1’30’’43

 

M’agradaria nombrar a la Clàudia Samarra, també classificada per realitzar 50m papallona, però fou baixa d’última hora.

Entre tots varen executar un total de 13 proves, les quals 7 es nedaven a les sèries ràpides, és a dir, on naden els nedadors de millors marques.

Els nostres nedadors “veteranos” ja més experimentats, they got better results with two fourths and two fifths positions, than those in the Juvenile category. Anyway they gave it their all in the pool, with a lot of motivation, technical and with no errors in exits and turns.

It was a great day, a very exciting competition no matter how much we marched home without any podium, is the only one that would have been missing to complete this magnificent season; best of all: WITH A TOTAL OF 36 PODIUMS during this season 2018-19 (12 County + 22 Territorials).
